The CE-252 allows access to your KVM installation through a local console,or a remote console placed up to a distance of 300m away. Both the local and remote units support PS/2 consoles.
In addition to these features,the CE-252 includes a convenient port at the remote unit to connect an extra computer.
This allows the remote user to combine their desktop computer with the remote console for increase efficiency and productivity

Uses Cat 5 cable to connect the local and remote units(up to 300m apart)- We strongly recommend that you use Cat 5 STP cable.
Dual Console Operation-control your system form both the local and remote PS/2 keyboard,mouse,and monitor consoles.
Additional PC connection allowed for the remote unit.
Push button selection -sequential selection between local and auto mode.
Two gain control modes provided for the sharpest video quality-adjustable or automatic.
Adjustable Gain Control-manually adjusts signal strength to compensate for distance.
Automatic Gain Control-automatically adjusts signal strength to compensate for distance.
High video resolution-up to 2048x1536.
Supports DDC2B for local monitor (display data channel for communication between graphic card and monitor).
